Retro Disney/Pixar Posters by Eric Tan

Decided to turn this twitter status update into a post after checking out more of Eric's work.  These are just fun to look at, and chances are that you've seen at least one of these movies, where he does a really good job in creating the perfect combination of typography and graphics.

And a flyer he did for an opening night Beastie Boys Gallery at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles that I attended and remembered seeing his flyer for.  Its a lot cooler now that I know who made it.

Bauhaus Posters from the Letters Only Exhibition

'Letters Only' is a gallery exhibition of typographic posters drawing influence from the Bauhaus movement, with some more contemporary than others.  With slight uses of tilts and slants in type and abstract shapes, its hard not to like anything Bauhaus.

Minimal Posters and Fontography by Network Osaka

Its our good friend Network Osaka, and hes been on here before, but not like this. He's back with more social media presence than ever now, with an up and running blog and twitter account.  Selected are some pieces from his more recent work, and could only expect just as much simplicity needed to create strong  contrasts and boldness in his vector work.  And his Modern Plastics poster [First poster] is pretty gold.

Follow him @NetworkOsaka.

Animal Heads from Chad Landenberger

This set caught my eye off of Chad Landenberger's Behance set, mostly because of the animals and color scheme--and the roaring ferociousness that they all evoke.  He includes just enough detail in each and turns a primal mood into a vibrant display of inaudible but captivating art.

Chad is from Jacksonville, Florida, and is available for freelance for anyone in the area. Check him out here, he does the works, or logos, print, & illustration.
