Audrey Kawasaki’s Laser Cut Brooch

A little while back, we gave you a glimpse of a laser cut brooch that was to be released from Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed). Well, it appears that some were sold at her Space Yui show in Japan and one, much to Audrey’s displeasure, has even made its way onto eBay. What is even more disturbing is the fact that the auction lists the brooch as being sold out when in fact this item is not even limited in edition and will be released for $35 in the near future.

What this little incident did though was give us a full look at this beautiful piece that will be available to all her fans at a very affordable price. Look for release info to follow.

Preview Audrey Kawasaki at Space Yui (Japan) Gallery Show

Here is a taste of what Audrey Kawasaki has been working on for her upcoming show at Space Yui in Tokyo opening on May 7th. She says on her blog that there will be about 10 paintings and drawings for the show. Looks like she’s continuing with the laser cutouts that we first saw at her “Drawing Room” show.
