Graphic Designs and Posters by Ed Nacional (NY)

I saw Ed Nacional's Black River Festival poster a long while ago on a blog or ffffound and knew that we had to do a post on this guy.  Checking out Ed's very clean and newly designed site, there's a ton of awesome and clever work created by this very talented Brooklyn resident.  His Twitter and Flickr are also packed with interesting stuff.

Infographic Chart Posters by Pop Chart Lab

So at first the "Predators" poster caught my eye, and then I checked out the rest of Pop Chart Lab's posters, and then I spent the next half hour going through everything that was included on each poster.  Even though they cram so much into one poster, its actually still pretty tidy and fun to read.  Really love the topics that they choose--video game controllers, beer, fearsome predators, superheroes, its like being a kid all over again.

Star Grid Posters by Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks is a graphic designer originally from Barcelona, Spain (though he is also around New York) who also does visual identity, album covers, and clothing.  His Star Grid Poster series is meticulously amazing, it must've taken quite some time to get the detail out of all of those stars.  Its almost as if a blind person is reading braille in the form of famous heads. Except with lots and lots of stars. Very well done.

Lettering and Illustrations by Jessica Hische

Jessica Hische's work is among some of the most amazing typography this blog has seen.  A very talented designer from Brooklyn, New York, Jessica clearly has some special skills in typography and hand lettering.    This post truly does not do her justice, and you can find a huge selection of her amazing work at her website.  Also join her army of followers on Twitter.
