New Posters by Phineas X. Jones

X—one of the original LA punk bands—is touring again in 2009 and this is the poster I made for their Baltimore stop. The photo only sort of implies how the gloss overprint screen looks. The whole thing looks vastly better in person, I swear.

Hand-printed edition of 100. Signed and numbered.

Size:
17" x 23" (432 mm x 584 mm)
Paper:
Gray French 100 lb. Cover
Screens:
Seven, including one gloss overprint
Price:
$25 + Shipping

Poster for the Detroit Cobras stop in Denver on their 2009 tour. Also the first rock show poster I printed. Historians take note!

Hand-printed edition of 100. Signed and numbered.

Size:
9.5" x 25" (242 mm x 635 mm)
Paper:
French Black 100 lb. Cover
Screens:
Three, including a metallic silver and a gloss varnish screen. In other words, this looks vastly cooler in person.
Price:
$20 + Shipping

Squid Can’t Win (Pinstripes)

While this squid is clearly still in a state of disheveled bewilderment, he’s just as clearly stepped up in the world since we saw him last.

If he was Jack Lemmon from “Glengarry Glen Ross” before, he’s Alec Baldwin now.

Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you’re a squid.

Hand-printed edition of 100. Signed and numbered.

Size:
19" x 25" (483 mm x 635 mm)
Paper:
French Speckletone Kraft 100 lb. Cover
Screens:
Five
Price:
$25 + Shipping

Buy them HERE. His stuff is top notch and for a very good price, check him out.

Details from his website www.octophant.us and you can buy them there.

Feudal Japanese cephalopods is an idea he had been kicking around for a while. It started as this painting, turned into a failed Threadless submission and then other things, too. But now it's a screen print and you can have one if you act now!

Paper:
French Construction Steel Blue 100lb Cover
