A cool flyer I came across the other day for Vis a-Vis, a French and American Literature showcase in Los Angeles.  Don't know the design credits, but it's not a bad design for this sort of thing.

Some cool music and art events are going on in Los Angeles, as well as some cool flyer designs for The Hyperion Tavern and the Public Fiction Gallery.  Love the clean design and the retro Atari-esque feel of these.

Here's the lineup for this amazing event.  The HARD Haunted Mansion schedule is packing some amazing talent in one place.  Definitely a place to be this Halloween in Los Angeles.

Dennis Mundt

Dennis Mundt is a graphic designer from Germany who does passionate print, motion, and sound design. From what I was able to find on him, his work is intricate and uses some really nice layering.

French Graphic Design Studio -- Helmo

Helmo is a graphic studio based in France comprised of Thomas Couderc and Clément Vauchez.  Their work is clean, colorful and very pleasing to the artistic eye.  Check out their website for more.

Aside from the Spune Productions Facebook and Posterous, there's not much I can tell about designer Brandon Lesley, except that he is responsible for a lot of these flyers, and possibly all of them.

2010 LA Marathon Poster - Designed by Cleon Petersen of Studio Number One

Celebrating the marathon's 25th anniversary, this year's 2010 LA Marathon poster is designed by Cleon Petersen of Studio Number One, a Los Angeles design studio supported by Shepard Fairey.  This screen print is available for $45 at Subliminal Projects.


The design work from the past Los Angeles Marathons haven't been bad either.  I'm liking the logo from last year's 2009 LA Marathon:
