Nicolau Fernandes

Nicolau Fernandes from Maia, Portugal does graphic design, and he also does music. Music that strangely reminds me of the soundtrack for aladdin for snes. His paint styling comes out pretty cool, which isn't too common with digital& illustration means of making flyers these days.

Plus, his "Human Dog" flyers that he did for a series of exhibitions for painter Sofia Torres, who I'm not sure if she claims credit for these or not--either way dogs rule. Check out the dogs that belong to yours truly, the newly united trifecta.

Don't recall how I stumbled on that first piece of beautiful typography, but Joana Montiero has a great eye for arranging information, using space and giving depth to her pieces. Check her blog for more.
