Culminiating in the UNDERCOVER BEAR KAWS COMPANION, you can expect this piece of design to have a far-reach hitting various demographics as it comes in both tonal black and off-white versons. The UNDERCOVER BEAR KAWS COMPANION will release on August 28th at UNDERCOVER locations across Japan with a suggested retail price of ¥12,800 JPY (approximately $135 USD). Anton Ginzburg is a sculpture and installation artist based in New York City. His works have been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, White Columns, and the first and second Moscow Biennales. His art is represented in the permanent collections of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the Tretyakov Gallery as well as private collections.

Original Fake 4 Feet Dissected Companion | Grey

Word on the internet is Kaws will release a second 4FT Dissected Companion in a total grey colorway. “Not for the faint of heart or the spatially deprived, these monsters will be set loose at the end of the month to those lucky few OriginalFake account holders. Much like the original Brown version, this monochromatic colorway will most likely be in an edition of 100 and retail for approximately $6000US. No word yet on an official kawsone.com online release, so for those interested keep an eye out at your local OF retailer.”

Joe Ledbetter – Slander Slithers at STGCC (8.14 – 8.16)

Joe Ledbetter is in Singapore for the release of his new Slander figure from Play Imaginative at the Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention (8.14 – 8.16). The cunning snake with a fully belly will be available in four editions – Green (1000 pcs, sgd $25), Ice (500 pcs, sgd $30), Purple (300 pcs. sgd $40) and Lava (200 pcs. sgd $50). The figure is reasonably priced between 17 and 35 USD, though not sure about having so many price points. Still no photos of the removable snake ‘victim’ lodged in Slander’s belly.
