Warped Tour

Before I left LA, I've been seeing the Warped Tour posters and flyers for a while, so I figured I'd post it up along with last year's. Couldn't track down the design credits, so if you could let me know, that'd be great.

SXSW

Just a few pieces I was able to scrounge up for the SXSW festival. The first and last one seem to be the strongest.

Hot Hot Coals

This is not London

Part of a campaign for a series of concerts (Including Simian Mobile Disco) that are happening right next door to me. The poster looked better than the flyer in my opinion, as the way they diplayed data thematically was more visually interesting.

Power to the Peaceful

Fresh off the streets of San Francisco, I wish I was able to make this event. Simple, clear and bold from the symbol to the type, this piece gets its message across clearly and succinctly, while looking nice at the same time.

Outside Lands - Ames Bros

This one passed under the radar for me. While I saw the same cartoony golden gate bridge promotions online and around SF, I never got to see this Jaws-inspired piece.

Outside Lands

I got to check out The Black Keys, Cold War Kids and Radiohead (the lights and stage cams made their performance even more awesome) on the first day of Outside Lands, the first music festival in Golden Gate Park. The design is by the legendary Ames Bros. The website is really cool too, check it out for event photos and videos.

Bloc Party

A few things for Bloc Party, one of my favorite live acts. Their flyers are just as enjoyable, and seem to be almost as random as their more recent music videos (Mercury, Flux?). Check out Jazz Feldy's piece that he did for Bloc Party's Melbourne show that I posted earlier.

Savage Wolf

Savage wolf does these illustrated fliers for some events in the UK. Check out his website here.
