Here's the lineup for this amazing event.  The HARD Haunted Mansion schedule is packing some amazing talent in one place.  Definitely a place to be this Halloween in Los Angeles.

Not sure who the artist is for all the HARD events, but their posters and flyers have become more polished in their designs lately.  The 3d effect in the first one for HARD Summer is enough to stand out, but isn't too much.  The MIA poster above is unusually clean for something to come out of HARD, and you can tell that HARD NYC's poster this year is getting a little bit better than last year's.  Also check out HARD Haunted Mansion's flyer from last year.

LovEvolution 2009

Like many other rave/festival flyers, this SF Lovefest flyer is fairly standard for an afterparty. You got your 3D rendered logo and accents, but then all that gets dilluted by the mashed text and the random last-minute add ins: the sponsors, the screenshots, the audience background...the website....

HARD Haunted Mansion 2009

I'll admit that most rave flyers are trash. And especially the flyers for the HUGE, super-popular, and always-packed ones can get away with so-so stuff because the event and the headliners are an automatic sell out. But this year's flyer for Hard Haunted Mansion is pretty minimal for Halloween rave status. One can suppose that Deadmau5, Miodskeletor, Steve Aoki and Justice make this eye-catching enough.

In the spirit of the upcoming Nocturnal Festival in southern California, here's a pretty cool fold-out flyer from two years ago. As a multiple-page flyer it might seem to blend in with the other mini-books they pass out at night, but the front grabber image on the cover is pretty cool.

Another masterpiece by Shingo Shimizu. He's done great work with the past Monster Massive mask-flyers, and he hasn't let us down with this one. The details of the mask are incredible, and he adds a little something different with the glow-in-the-dark skull. Check out his creative process here.

Found this on my window after a show in Costa Mesa. Not does it look like a wrestler's mask on the front and back, it's also perforated on the eyes, nose and mouth so that you can actually use the mask yourself. If you click on the images, you can see that they even left holes for a string. Clever.
